The membership roster is comprised of both full-time and part-time personnel. Most part-time personnel serve as career firefighters with surrounding agencies. Emergency service is delivered to the town and surrounding areas by two staffed fire stations. These stations operate 24/7, 365 days of the year. The daily staffing for fire department operations is set at 8 personnel which includes 4 personnel assigned to Fire Station 1 and 4 personnel assigned to Fire Station 2.

The Davidson Fire Department responds to approximately 1,600 calls each year, an approximate daily average of 4.38 calls. As the Town of Davidson continues to grow, call and response volumes will also increase.

Crew members are on duty for 24 hours at a time. They typically cook meals at the fire stations depending on emergency calls, training, and any other required duty activities.
