Planning Director Jason Burdette introduced Transportation Planner Travis Johnson who discussed the Davidson Mobility Plan
. The creation of this plan will involve citizen engagement in order to develop a plan to move people around and through our town in a multi-modal fashion (cars, bicycles, and pedestrians). Once finalized, it will double as a Comprehensive Transportation Plan, which is what outside agencies require if we’re to pursue additional funding opportunities to make improvements in town. Wade Walker of Alta Planning, the consultant we hired to help us with this project explained the process, timeline, and many ways we’ll seek citizen input. Please stay tuned for details.
