(a) Livable Meck
Dena Diorio, Mecklenburg County Manager

Summary: Mecklenburg County Manager Dena Diorio will update the Town of
Davidson on Livable Meck. Livable Meck is an engagement infrastructure, bringing
organizations together to enhance and protect the quality of life across our community.
Dena will also share the results of the "Voice of the Community" research.

b) FY2019 Audit Report and Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR)
Ann Craven, Partner at Rowell, Craven and Short, PA
Summary:
 Finance Director Pieter Swart and Lead Auditor and Partner Ann
Craven of Rowell, Craven and Short, PA will present the FY2019 Audited
Financial Statements and CAFR for the Town of Davidson.

VI. PUBLIC COMMENTS - The Board shall provide at least one period for public comment per month at a regular meeting.

VIII. CONSENT - Consent items are typically non-controversial and routine items. Prior to the board's adoption of the meeting agenda the request of any member to have an item moved from the consent agenda to old business must be honored by the board. All items on the consent agenda must be voted on and adopted by a single motion.
 
a. Consider Approval of Draft December Meeting Minutes
Summary:
Draft Meeting Minutes from December 3 regular meeting and December
10 swearing in ceremony and organizational meeting.

b. Consider Approval to Amend Meeting Schedule
Summary:
Amend the meeting schedule to add a joint work session with the
Affordable Housing Committee on Monday, February 3 at 6:00 p.m. in the Davidson
Town Hall Board Room, Q&A Session at St. Alban's on Tuesday, February 4 at
9:00 a.m., and 2020 Strategic Retreat in Asheville, NC on Thursday, February 20 and
Friday, February 21.

c. Consider Approval of Extension of FY2019 Financial Statement Audit Contract
Summary:
The Board will consider the approval of an extension of the FY2019 Audit
Contract from December 1, 2019 to December 5, 2019 as required by the LGC. There
is no change to total cost of the contract.

d. Consider Approval of Resolution 2020-02 to Exempt the Team Summit
Foundation Twilight Racing Series from Section 54-1 of the Municipal Code on
March 14 and October 24, 2020
Summary:
The Team Summit Foundation has requested a temporary waiver of the
town alcohol ordinance for March 14 and October 24, 2020 during post-race
celebrations on town property.

e. Consider Approval of Resolution 2020-03 Code of Ethics
Summary:
In accordance with NC General Statute §160A-86, governing boards of
cities shall adopt a resolution or policy containing a code of ethics to guide actions by
the governing board members in the performance of the member's official duties as a
member of that governing board.
