Join Habitat Charlotte Region's sixth annual Building Futures Affordable Housing Symposium where author and UC Irvine Law Professor Mehrsa Baradaran will delve into the crucial roles that banks and financial institutions have played in creating and maintaining racial injustice in the United States, including wealth inequity and racial discrimination.

Ms. Baradaran and Natosha Reid Rice, Habitat for Humanity International's Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer, will field questions from attendees.

Building Futures is free of charge, open to the public, and part of Habitat Charlotte Region’s Beloved Community initiative in support of racial equity and affordable housing.
